Pool Deck Washing
Pool decks can be made of several different types of materials. Concrete for below ground and wood or composite for above ground pools. Why is keeping the area around your pool so important? Safety! When the area around your pool becomes filled with slick mold and mildew not does it detract from your fun play area but when wet from people getting in and out of the pool it can become slick and a possible accident is just waiting to be had. We can keep that area not only clean but can even seal with a clear penetrating or hydrophobic sealer or stain to keep it cleaner longer and prevent cracking from water freezing opening micro cracks in the surface.
Many below ground pool decks are concrete because of the beauty and longevity concrete give. Concrete pool decks are treated just like driveways and walkways with pre treat, scrub, rinse, and a post treat.
Wood is a common medium for above ground pools because of the ease to build the deck on a raised level to match the top lip of the pool. We treat wooden pool decks just like we would a deck or a fence.
Composite decking is made of wood and plastic fused together to give a product that can be used like regular wood but last longer. Depending on the age and quality of the composite deck determines how it is cleaned.
